In order for the first Future Yard festival to bring some of Wirral's finest culture to Birkenhead Priory, the site will be closed to public access from Thursday 22nd - Saturday 25th August.
Birkenhead Priory is delighted to be a major venue for Future Yard. The festival will re-imagine unique spaces and venues in Birkenhead for a two-day, multi-venue festival of internationally significant contemporary new music. Now is the time to think about music differently; as a transformative opportunity. In addition, the daytime programme celebrates Wirral’s unique cultural heritage, inspired by its geography, landscape and unique position between Wales and the port of Liverpool. Tickets are available starting from £20; full details can be found here.
The site will reopen to the public on Sunday 25th at 10am, though the site may not be fully cleared until lunchtime.
